The St. Edward’s University Writing Center, located on the second floor of the Munday Library, helps students, faculty, staff and alumni grow as writers in an environment of collaboration, not instruction.

Strong writing and communication abilities are an essential outcome of your St. Edward’s education. These lifelong skills are highly valued in every career field. Tutoring Services for Success

Sign Up for an Appointment with TutorTrac

Use TutorTrac to check for available appointments, schedule an appointment, or cancel an appointment. We offer in-person and virtual appointments to meet with a tutor.  When signing up, choose either “Writing Center” for in-person or “Video Conference” for virtual. We also provide online hours on Sundays in the Fall and Spring.

Submit a Draft for Feedback

When your schedule doesn't allow you to make a real-time appointment, submit a draft online for written feedback on the page above. Turnaround time for asynchronous feedback is 24 to 72 hours. Please allow the full 72 hours.

The Writing Center Provides Assistance in All Areas of Writing

  • Patterns of error (in grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, citation formatting and documentation) and modeling corrections
